3cupspuffed brown rice (make sure it is unsweetened with only one ingredient!)
2cupsrolled oats
1cupslivered almonds
2 1/2tbsptumeric
1tspcinnamon
1/2tspsalt
1/2tspbaking soda
2tbspmaple syrup
spraycoconut oil

Heat oven to 300
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Be careful not to crush the rice.
Spread on baking pan/sheet.
Bake about 20-30 minutes or until golden brown, watch carefully.
Storage
Store in an airtight container and enjoy for a few weeks... or as long as it lasts without getting devoured!

The turmeric is not the only thing that makes this granola special. I used puffed rice for part of the grains this time. Let me tell you ... it turned out amazing! The puffed rice gives a light and airy texture that I love. The rice increases the volume of the granola overall, so this can be a great topping or just a grab-and-go handful snack.
